Obinna is a 1998 honours graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in October 2000. He has an LL.M degree from the University of Jos. A Notary Public of Nigeria, Obinna is also a Certified Negotiator, a Member of the International Bar Association, Commonwealth Lawyers Association, Nigerian Bar Association, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK (Nigeria Branch) and a Registered Professional (Legal Practitioner) with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria – (FRC/2015/NBA/00000013154).
